Sticks in my box of stalky hay from dustfreehay

I've just pulled out two short sticks from the box of hay, do you think these will be safe or not? I cannot tell what type of tree or bush they are from.

i somethings find sticks i just shove em in, normally its just like the bark or twiggy bits

I get sticks in my hay from the farm sometimes, I always put them in, and they get munched!

Found a stick in my dust free today. Took it out in case its not safe for them to eat. I always thought they checked the hay or at least it should have been removed with all the dust

I hadnt even given the sticks I find in hay a second thought to be honest :shock:
