Thank you, Lauren xxx

thank you for replyoing :)

she is moulting yep, nope not runny or sore.... and behaviour is normal, she lives with another bun whose eyes are fine. xxx

It could be moult, but too me it looks more like barbering. Usually with moult the new fur is visible underneath so the skin would look blackish on as the new fur come through and it would have a short coat with a few days.

Have you noticed the other bun doing more grooming that usual? It is a slightly odd place though.

Check the inside of her front legs and see if there is any stiff/matted fur there in case it's been damp and she rubbed. A weepy eye could also encourage a partner to groom more.

It could be mites or similar but the skin looks very health underneath.

I'd maybe give it a few days and see if it grows back in or you notice anything else and then if it spreads or doesn't resolve you could get the vet to check/treat for mites.

Thank you Tamsin, i havent noticed more grooming but will look out and no matted fur... will keep an eye on it and go vets in week if no improvement.
Thank you :)xx
