I don't actually know what hawthorn looks like.
I know what brambles are. I heard you shouldn't pick them near a road due to pollution, or anything near a road. Is that right ?

think they're ok but essie would rather nibble the leaves from the plant than any dropped flowers - and its incredible fun to nibble the bigger stick bits she says as a lot of the plant just falls over then:evil:
