Your Money - Pledge a Pound - Rescues please add your comments

Recently I was lucky enough to be drawn out the PAP monthly draw and was sent £75, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this cause, it's really wonderful and it certainly gives me a boost when we get something, as a very busy sanctuary looking after so many chronically sick, elderly and disabled rabbits we don't get time to do our own fundraising, so thank you everyone, it really is appreciated, thank you to Sue (Hunnybunny2007) and Denise (BunnyAddict) for organising this

The money will be spent on getting our gorgeous Brie speyed next week, we are delighted to announce that the specialist now thinks that she is well enough to be operated on, Paula our wonderful vet will spey her

I will let you all know how she gets on, she has done so well and was able to walk all around the surgery, we are so pleased with her as is the specialist and our vet

Like you I struggle to find time to do fundraising (34 buns to look after at the moment on my own, plus full-time job)...hence our tombola-style fundraiser not being put up yet ( )

It really is brilliant and it helps so many rescues and sanctuaries who otherwise wouldn't get anything, we have got 45 in at the moment and so we don't have time to do our own fundraising, we are just so busy looking after the bunnies

Thank you Theo, I know you and Amy have taken in some very poorly buns recently, so it's nice to see how the money helps you, especially when it's such a special bun like Brie

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has given to Pledge a Pound. We were very happy to hear that Furry Friends were going to be added to PAP and we were delighted with everyone's generosity.

I know its really hard to speak to you all on an emotional and personal level over the internet, but I am going to try my best. At present we have a huge amount of rabbits in - all desperate for a chance at finding security and happiness.

The money you have given will make a huge difference to us at Furry Friends. We currently have 7 baby rabbits. Some of you may have seen Harmony, Peace and Cloud...

The money raised went on Harmony's spay and vaccinations. It will also go towards having Peace and Cloud neutered and vaccinated when they are the right age.

As well as those beauties, we also have Nelly and her family. Nelly's babies are very lucky to be here. She came from someone who no longer wanted her as her companion died so she came to us. The day I had her booked in to be spayed the vets called me asking if we could move it forward a few weeks as a vet was off ill. The day came for her to be spayed and I found a nest of wiggly babies!

So a huge, huge thank you to anyone that has contributed or is planning to next time. Any amount really helps rescues like ourselves and others and without things like this there is no way we could help these beautiful animals.

On behalf of The Ark i'd also like to say a "HUGE THANKYOU"

Everyone has been so generous and I don't think they know to what extent this money means to us!!

The Ark gets very little funding for their rabbits and I have been doing my very best to raise funds to get all the bunnies neutered and vaccinated as well as give them a few extra treats!

The PAP money has helped make many bunnies lives so much happier and given them the best possible start in life when they go to their new homes. From the money we have recieved we have bought 2 huge runs, huts, treats and helped pay towards neutering! From the bottom of our hearts...thank you
