Trixia Metal Folding Run

LionheadLuver

Warren Veteran
Hey

As I was cleaning out their run, I put the run on the grass and thought that maybe the bunnies would like a short run around (not too long as they aren't used to grass). They adored it. I've never seen so many binkys from them both. It was delightful to watch. I'm looking for a metal folding run which is large enough for them to have a good run, so that they can go on the grass a couple of times a week for a few hours. I've looked at the Trixia Metal Folding run from Zooplus and it looks fab. it's 7ft x 4ft x 2ft, so large enough for them to run around in, but it also folds away. What are your opinions of this run?

Here are some piccies of the girls enjoying themselves for a few minutes:

Rabbitdan bought this run http://ukpetsonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=600
And liked it.

Its good for the price, maybe you're interested.

I've got two of these, LionheadLuver, (one is from Doghealth and one is the Trixie one, but both very similar). I think they are fab, as they fold up nicely, and offer a nice space for running around in.

There have been some cases of small buns getting their heads stuck in the bars, as the bars are fairly widely spaced. I use mine for the fosters, and at the moment have fairly large buns in there, so no worries, but when I used them for my own small bunnies, I cable tied some mesh around the lower bit just in case. Just wanted to warn you about this, so you can make your own mind up.

But I really love mine, they are really great for the price, especially from the link that whitehood posted - great deal!

I have two of the big metal runs and attached one onto the end of the other, with an overlap of about 2ft. It gives Sunnie enough length to really run. I only use the run when I am at home and watching from my desk. I have added some cable ties for more stability. I like the run and the only problem I can see is trying to catch the bunnies in it. It is a bit tricky to get into some of the parts.

You can get it here, too, free delivery:

I have one too and love it. I have covered it in mesh though as Phoenix got her head stuck after being scared by a cat. she's about the same size as yours so I'd definitely cover it in mesh first.
