Zaphod the kitten with a limp

What a gorgeous little kitten! Is he/she in lots of pain? Gordon had a limp last week, but with a small injection of an anti-inflamatory he was back to normal in about 20 mins! Hope its nothing serious.

No I dont think he's in alot of pain. I can have a good feel of his leg and he doesnt mind, although the first time I did it he yowled :(
There's somethign wrong with his hip, it feels very strange compared to his other one so I don't think an injection will fix this :(

More pictures!

Oh no! That's so sad in such a young animal, although as he is young I guess he will adjust. Is there absolutely no other way to fix it? Would it be worth getting a second opinion? He must be in pain, poor thing :(

No chance :( its broken at a growth plate, moved and has now started to heal where it is, there is new bone growth so it's in the completely wrong place and has attached itself there

Apart from the limp you can't tell theres anything wrong with him  Im supposed to be keeping him calm and quite, but he's currently bouncing around all over my bed

thankyou  the vets wont amputate until he is 3/4 months old and around 1.5/2kg. He's 8weeks old and 0.8kg atm
