Grumpy Bun.

Alpha Buck
Rolo my house-bun has been REALLY grouchy for a couple of days.

He's eating and drinking as normal. But, he is moulting. He had abit of a moult during the warm spring, but its coming out in handfuls now. He's about a year old and I wondered if this could be him losing his baby fur.

He has a big patch of moult on his back and if we go to stroke him there he snaps at us. The new fur looks really healthy and there is no red or sore bits.

Can anyone offer any advice? Im getting abit worried about him.

Thanks.

Hi there

One of my buns is also moulting again. It seems a little odd as his wifybun isnt.

He is a bit grumpy but no real change there.

If he stops eating, drinking or going to the loo then take him to the vet but right now, dont worry too much (easier said than done, I know)

yes they can get grump when moulting...BUT i would say keep an eye on the bunny poops....

maybe take him to the vet if he doesnt get better or gets more aggressive. It can be a sign of pain..they hide the pain and act grumpy or aggressive instead.
