Can rabbits eat peas, either the peas or the empty pod, fresh from the supermarket?

Yup but they are quite high in sugar so not too many and as with all green things start with only a small amount. Ours get 1 or 2 pea pods each when the ones we grow get to picking size.

Can they eat the pea vines/plant too? My early peas are nearly finished now:D

Pea shoots are okay for bunnies (and people) so I don't see why not, not sure how tasty they'll be now they are old n tough though :)

I feed pods from the home grown ones, they keep quite well in the fridge for a few days so you can spread them out a bit. We only grow them in pots though so not that man to start with lol

My bunny loves peas and the pea shoots. I cut off a section with some peas attached and she loves it:wave:

We give ours pea pods and it makes them bonkers. Must be too much sugar, they don't have any other sugary treats. So, unless you want to spend the evening yelling at them for ripping up the carpets then not too much!
