Today was Bark in the Park and I took Madam along for a little socialisation exercise. Good job we didn't stay too long, it was hoooooot!

Here is Jinty with Dr Who robot, K9

My friend holding the lead...... Madam all of a sudden realises she needs to be closer to me!

We sat on the sidelines (there was a 'main ring' for dog shows and display teams which we didnt stick around for) and met this handsome chap who was so gentle with her

Getting grumpy because she wasn't allowed to go and play with EVERYONE

Watched about 5 mins of agility and then left as she was getting hot and that was enough. She enjoyed the agility though, and watched intently.

Thanks everyone!

What a great day out! Lovely photos :D

It wasn't so much a day out, we were there an hour max but that was enough for her! Shes woken up and is full of beans again now! She had to be carried home earlier because I didnt want her over exerting herself.

It was great, loads of people approached her (children ASKED before stroking her! Very impressed), loooots of dogs; of all ages, sizes and ... urm..... politeness.

Jinty didn't even jump when a balloon popped :D

AND we got to help out with a helper pups training. The pup is going to work with a disabled person in a wheelchair and was eating on the floor. The lady asked if I would approach with my dog (both were on lead) to see how the pups reacted. Jinty wasnt interested in the pups chew and they were both very polite and the dog continued chewing away while Madam plonked herself next to him. The lady was very pleased and thanked me (and pup) for being so willing to go over and say hi. Most people were avoiding him because he had a purple 'in training' jacket on. He even let Jin have some of his water.
