Hutch/run cover

I need help with a cover. I have a single storey rabbit hutch with attached run, I have been quoted £150 for a thermal rain cover, which I would like but just dont have the money for. Can anyone suggest a cheap alternative to keep the rain off and then how to maybe keep the rabbits warmer in the winter without the covers blowing everywhere.

Do you need to get access to the run? Is it a walk in run, or a low run (i.e. 2ft tall run?) I have a walk in run, and attached a clear corrugated roof, but maybe a tarpaulin attached with cable ties may work on a low run.

hi ya, yeah its only 2.5ft tall, I just climb in to get to the hutch to be able to clean it. Thats a good idea, where do you get the ties from?x
