the last feew days butons has been making a strange noise- hard to explain but almost like a snorting/wheezing/guinea pig noise. he has sneezed a few times too. he's eating and doing everything else normally but im going to vets to make sure. he at first only made the noise when cleaning and eating but now even at other times. ive also noticed he has lost his baance a few times when cleaning(although that could just be him lol) am i over worrying? what could it be?:( could it be snuffles?
 
No def not over worrying I would get him to the vets especially if he has fallen over.

Those symptoms could be a number of different things so I wouldnt like to speculate but definately seek a vets advice - good luck
 
good luck at the vets, i would as a precaution do a 28day course of pannacur in addition to metacam and baytril/septrin (to cover in case of snuffles) hope that the vet can help with a better diagnosis its very hard to tell as rabbit symptoms can describe many illnesses xxx
 
hey thanks for all the vibes. Buttons lunged out of his carry case on the vets table and was trying to investigate EVERYTHING!:roll: the funny thing is that he's suddenly decided to stop the funny noise!:? been acting normal now. the vet said that as he was very lively , his poos are good, he's eating loads, and there is no horrible snot or discharge that he is fine. he checked him over(with much protesting!) and gave him his myxie jab.:) he's been enjoying a cuddle from my friend and had a few pellets for a treat.Why do bunnies make us worry so much!!!!? i really want to get my insurance sorted now!:shock: before anything does happen. haha
