Received a Sympathy Card

Captain Helen

Wise Old Thumper
I've just received a sympathy card from my vet for Scratchy. They've never done that before. I didn't know my regular vet even knew that Scratchy had died. I guess the specialist vet must have told them.

Such a lovely thing to do. It made me cry  But it's nice to know they care. :)

Ive had a few in the past from my Surrey vets...but none from the Devon vets despite having Archie PTS.

We had a lovely bunny sympathy card too after we had taken Mia to be cremated.

It was so unexpected and such a lovely thought. Little things like this really do make a difference.:)

It is the little things that make all the difference. When I took Nugget's body in for cremation in November the receptionist I handed him over too was less than sensitive. Granted, his body had been decomposing for three weeks so it wasn't a nice experience for her, but it was worse for me! I thought she could have been a little more sympathetic.

This has made up for it I think.

aw thats so lovely. just out interest which vets do you go to? i am thinking of changing...

I use Tower vets. Mostly the one in Acomb, but I use the Fulford branch quite regularly too. I use the one on Clarence Street for the buns. It's called Abbeyfields, but they're part of the same company now.
