The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

This usually occurs at about 14-16 weeks of age
I'd get him to a Vet now anyway as he needs his Myxomatosis and VHD Vaccinations, if he has not already had them.

Thanks, I'm not sure how much it is to get him vacinated my mum says it costs alot to do it, is that true and do you know how much it is in AUS

There is no Myxomatosis Vaccine available for Pet Rabbits in Aus
I believe the VHD Vaccine is available, but I have no idea of cost, you would be best to ask the Vet

First off I'd get him neutered, it will take a few weeks AFTER his op' for his hormones to settle down.
Age is not always relevant when finding a friend for a Rabbit. It is more dependent on each Buns personality. Taking your Bun to chose his friend for himself would be a good option if your local Rescue could accommodate this.
