Poor charlie managed to escape onto the lawn at the same time as other buns at lunchtime and what should just have been a mimor scuffle turned into an emergency as an 'unlucky' kick from one ended ip catching his tail and ripping off the skin amd also then ripping his anus. Our wonderful vetvsurgeon had to amputate the tail and use a remaining bit of skin flap to reconstruct his anal area. Charlie is being vert brave and eating already but she cannot be sure that he will be able to poo if the muscles have been too badly ripped. The next 24 hrs will be vital. He only came to me as a foster amd is not insured. His owner has not been in contact for almost 2 months now so i think we are his new parents now. He needs all ru's special thoughts. The bill so far was 400!!
