What a moult!

Poor Smudge is looking very moth-eaten! I am smoothing out huge clumps every night! He quite likes it - must be like taking off a fur coat in the height of summer! But I am amazed how much is coming out. This is usual for him but always worries me at first - see a tuft - hold it and an inch or so of fur comes away - leaving what looks like VERY short fur on his back. He looks so odd. :lol: But he must love it as he is not a cuddle bun but now comes up for nose rubs and hair removal. :lol:

:lol: Jingle likes me to pluck bits out for him they sort of stick out just ready to be lifted out, it is amazing how much comes away, he is having the longest moult ever!

Awww bless, they do like total little scruffs during a moult don't they!

I always think it makes them look older too for some reason! :?
