Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Reaction to cylap vaccination?

Young Bun
Hi

I was never aware of the issues surrounding cylap until I started nosing around the Internet.

My 4 month old lop was vaccinated on Fri - she then developed a little bald patch and bit of swelling but has since developed dandruff too(never had before). She seems fine and is eating as normal - could it be a reaction to the jab?

is beapher anti parasite spot on any good?

Thanks

The dandruff might be mites which can flare up after a vaccine, vaccines tend to make them feel a bit rough after. If it was my rabbit I'd probably get in contact with the vet. :)

cyclap

Hi, new to this site..our 2 month old mini lops had their injections yesterday and are both now back at the vets with temps of 39.7 and very listless, not drinking or eating. Is this common? what is the outlook as this Cyclap stuff seems quite unpleasant. I feel bad as didnt realise there was a different vaccine available and the girls are now giving me the evil stare!
