6 months ago, I had to order in Lapinject for Homers VHD as they were routinely using Cylap. I explained the reason behind my request and they were very good about doing this for me.
Yesterday, when I took them in for Myxi jab, I again requested the Lapinject and the head vet came to speak to me to tell me that my previous request had initiated a long conversation between staff about the VHD vaccine. They said that while they themselves had not had a bun with a reaction to Cylap, they'd read on t'internet of the problems it can cause and there has also been an amendment on their drug data sheets with regards to these.
Subsequently, they are now using up the last of the Cylap and are going to start using Anivac instead.
