Young Bun
Hi

Can anyone tell me the answer to the following?

I have applied rear guard to my bunny which I won't have to reapply again for 8-10 weeks, but, if I have to wash her before then do I have to reapply? - will the solution be washed off?

Many thanks.

You could always check with the manufacturer, their number should be on the box.

I rearguard my bunnies but don't ever wash them as there is no need to as they have no health issues that stop them cleaning themselves.

you need to reapply if you have bathed them it says on the packaging :)

Does she have any health issue why she needs bathing? if not there is no need to, sometimes it can do more harm then good :) but i dont know your circumstances.

Hi

Thanks for the replies. We do need to bathe her regulary as she is incontinent and has a wet behind most of the time.

We always thought fly strike was obvious to spot but its not, sometimes you may only get 4 or 5 maggots present from 1 fly and no swarming at all - please keep an eye on your bunnies in this hot weather.

yes i have to keep a very close eye too as both my buns have root tooth abcsess's, its a real worry! but good hygene and cleaning there litter trays and enclosure twice a day seems to keep them away :) i dont have any experience with bunny incontinance but would baby powder be better to keep the area dry? just somthing that popped into my head :)
