I posted about a week ago that my little bunny Wilbur was rather unwell. He ended up with a respiratory infection and the vet gave him a baytril injection and a course of oral baytril.
I was giving him his baytril today and I noticed a scabby area around the size of a 20p where he was given his injection. One of my ratty boys (Henry) has a baytril burn at the moment and Wilbur's scabs look exactly like Henry's did before they came off. The fact that it looks the same and is around his injection site would lead me to believe it is a baytril burn
I presume that I wait for the scabs to fall off and then treat it as I have been doing for the rat? I've been using hibiscrub and aloe vera gel. I gave Henry (the rat) calpol for pain- can I give this to a rabbit?
