Hi there
I'm em-j and bunnymother to Benjamin, a lovely general mediumish house rabbit.
Urm well i'm currently unemployed and wont be returning to work for the foreseeable future due to an illness called Fibromyalgia (http://www.ukfibromyalgia.com/) as well as depression.
As a result I'm not really doing that much and slowly going a bit insane (or some would say I never was sane to begin with!).
I'm wondering if there is anyone in the central Scotland area, (I live in Fallin near Stirling) who has a bunny rescue or lots of pet bunnies that need attention and help? I sadly can't drive, but can use public transport. I also have a walking stick and can find lifting heavy things hard too.
Animals help with my depression, being around Ben helps cheer me up on bad days, as just talking to him or storking him makes me feel infinately better, and seems to make Ben happy too. I'd like to help other bunnies who aren't getting enough love perhaps?
I'd love to socialise Ben a bit more as well if that was possible, and I'm currently training him to do Jummping/Hopping but its a slow process since I got him as an adult. If there's anyone in Scotland who does Hopping or has an interest in it, I'd love to talk/meet up and try doing so together.
Despite being laughed at by my fiance and his family I would like to get a pet stroller for Ben so I can take him new places to explore and be safe at the same time. Anyone else up for bunny walks?
If there's anyone in Scotland looking for friends or help give me a shout. I can do craft work (sewing/cards/cross-stitch/knitting/etc), as well as being handy with tools (built Ben's hutch on my own), so if helping that way would be useful to someone let me know.
Many thanks
