I have 3 males within a room, all next to each other. One of the males was neutered so he was fully litter trained, when I brought the other two in who are litter mates a lot of pooing and peeing started within the area of the cages. I have recently got the 2 neutered (about 4 weeks ago) so they are all now neutered. I was hoping for some advice on how to make the cage area neutral e.g. how to clean dry pee strains off the carpet & dis-infect the area hopefully to try cut down there need to mark there territory since they are now neutered & have calmed down a lot. I want to clean the area so that I can hoping train them to use a large litter tray that I have had for them for a while.
I'm hoping to see whether they will feel comfortable around each other so that in the future I can try to bond them, so by seeing whether I can stop them marking their territory is going to be an important decision as to whether its worth trying to bond them.
I have bought this spray from pets at home, do you think it would be enough or would I need something stronger?
