Fur Changing Colour

Hi all

Well Pixie has been with us since October and seems to be settled in well. Her hutch is now on the grass as its getting warmer and she is loving being on the grass all day everyday.
Shes moulting nicely, and theres the problem. Her fur seems to be changing colour from a lovely grey to an auburny brown colour. Is this normal? Shes about a year old we think.
My daughter keeps asking if shes changing colour 'because we bought a grey rabbit mummy'!
Thanks all xx

If the fur looks normal and you're not seeing any issues with the skin then I wouldn't worry. Some colours do change with the seasons and suchlike, it just depends on the markings. Sable is a colour quite well known for doing this.

my flopsy turned more greyish with a few white spots in October, but now he is moulting he is turning black again so i thinks it just part of his winter/summer coat moulting cycle.
