Trixie 150

Specz

New Kit
Hi

Thinking about getting a Trixie 150 indoor cage, but does anyone know where to get one

Cant seem to find one anywhere!!!

Thanks

Had a look at that one last night but I'm a bit concerned about the wire shelf in it. But thank you x

Hi
The other one also has a wire shelf and ramp, but should be easy enough to cover with some plywood. Think ZooPlus also sells ramps (50cm?) if you don't want to make your own.
We bought one of these cages for emergency indoor use....seems really good (apart from the wire shelf), but nothing that a trip to B&Q for some plywood won't cure.

a lot of people seem to attempt to make their own indoor cage.

I only say because I nearly bought something similar to what you're looking at them saw what other people did and I really want to do that now (and I'm glad I didn't spend so much on the other one)

They call them c&c cages - you make them with metal cube and you can make them exactly to the dimensions you want, (giving bunny more room)

http://www.guineapigcages.com/ this is a link with information about then (aimed at guinea pigs, but the info is basically the same.

and here are some photo's http://www.guineapigcages.com/photos/index.php of how other people have made them.

http://www.shopfittingsonline.co.uk/acatalog/Display_Shelving_and_Cubes.html you can buy the cubes here (B&Q have them on the website but discontinued them - I called :( )

Not really the answer to your question, just showing you another option!

I've got a trixie 150 for my piggies. First thing I did was bin the wire first floor level and make my own out of plywood. It was really easy to do.

I got my cage from Jollyes at a cost of £97 but I think they've gone up by £10 now. Here's my home-made 1st floor:-
