Beau *Pic Heavy*

Mama Doe
On Friday we decided to get a new dog for my current staffy x labrador, Murphy. Well anyway, on Thursday my friend came up to my house with his step brother and asked me if I wanted his dog because he didn't have the time for him anymore. Seeing as we wanted another dog my mum allowed us to keep him and his name is Beau. It is pronounced Bow and it mean beautiful in French. He is a staffy and he's not in the best condition, ear infection, bit underweight, doesnt know how what to do with his toys, old dog bite wound on his back leg. Murphy is the black staffy cross and Beau is the other one.

OMG.
What a gorgeous face he has! So, SO jealous!

Don't let your dog play with sticks  It can be very dangerous.... they can splinter and be inhaled or even swollowed and cause obstruction. Try and encourage him to use a ball..... kong do some interesting long-ish tennis type toys that can replace sticks and are safer.

We dont throw the sticks for them as Murphy had an accident last year with one. The stick went long way down his throat and he had to have stiches as it cut his throat. We only let them pick them up but they get bored after a while because we dont throw them so they just drop them. We take tennis balls with us for them to play with aswell.

 What's wrong?!:(

He is absolutely STUNNING...as is Murphy! I'm not usually a Staffie person but WOW...those are two attractive dogs!:love::love::love:

I'm not sure about him being underweight though. :? He looks good to me. you should be able to feel some rib with dogs. They're meant to be athletic.

I've just had 5 teenagers knock on my door saying that their dog was stolen and it's exactly the same as Beau. I can't believe they sold me a stolen dog. My aunties coming over with the dog in a few hours as she took them to a park outside of Ipswich. We're not getting the money back or anything. Murphy's become so attached to him. The police are getting involved aswell. I cant believe 3 of my mates lied to me.

 oh Abi I'm so sorry. Do they have proof it is their dog? Photos, anything like that? Did they report it to the police or to the RSPCA? Be careful I wouldn't just hand him over it all sounds very suspicious :?

:shock::shock: Oh my goodness! Why on earth would they steal a Dog and sell hiim?! Do you know them well?

If the police are getting involved then it's a possibility that you'd get your money back....but I don't know if you'd have to take them to small claims court. :? How much did you give them?

ETA: I'm really sorry it happened. He looked lovely.
