oh if anyone does want information about keeping hedgies please feel free to pm me your email and ill send you a copy of my hedgie keeping fact sheet :D

Wow, never thought about keeping a hedgie as a pet. Are they tricky - or prickly - pets?

not at all they are so easy for a exotic they live in a indoor rabbit cage i use vet bed with newspaper under much easier tha shavings and they are litter trained so they have small rabbit corner litter trays
they eat cat food mealworms ( live or dried ) they eat alsorts mine love fresh chicken as a treat they love dried crickets live silk worms they can eat wet cat food as well at dried as i said so easy they play with small cat toys and rabbit toys
they are fun loyal pets and very rewarding have to say adictive too i always said i would only have one and well Jacob as i have decided to call him to stick with the vampire thing ( ok doris and daisy dont fit but i didnt name them Doris came with her name and doris jon named her lol ) well Jacob will be my sixth hedgie hehe
oh ive told jon i said meet jacob my xmas prezzie he sort of said oh cool when is he arriving :D i think hes getting soft in his old age ;)

well here you go not brilliant pics i have them in 4ft indoor cages which this year i plan to change to a hutch block to give me and them more space they get alot of free run and love running about like nutters chasing the cat lol
people either keep them in large indoor rabbit cages
daisy and babies like mine are now or 4ft vivs the vivs do look more tidy and tend to take up less space which is why im changing over
