Little foster bun Jimmy has gone to visit the plum fairy today. It's been a long time since I've had to get a bun neutered!

Unfortunatley, during the pre-op check, the vet said his lower jaw is slightly further back than it should be. :( This could mean dental problems in the future. She said it's a good sign that he's got to about 7 months with no problems though. I'm worried this will put people off adopting him. :cry: Poor little Jimmy. :cry:

I can call them at 1pm to see how he's doing. Lots of vibes for my beautiful boy would be appreciated! :wave:

Lots of vibes for Jimmy. :wave: Spenser saw the Plum Fairy recently and was very disappointed that she wasn't wearing a pink tutu and carrying a magic wand. :lol:
 
Thank you everyone! Jimmy is back home now. He's eating fine, but a little quiet. He mostly looks confused!

The vet didn't find any spurs on his teeth, so he may get lucky with his misaligned jaw. I just need to keep an eye on his eating habits.

He's quite swollen down there, I guess that's normal?
 
hope he stays dental free.

as i recall, eric looked a bit swollen afterwards but i suppose thats normal so long as it doesn't look red and angry x
 
Glad he is home safely and no spurs on his teeth. He's such a wee darling! Spenser wasn't swollen, but I don't think it's that uncommon for a post-neuter bun to be like that.
 
Well he did have pretty big furry teabags, so maybe that's why! :oops: :lol:

He scoffed his dinner as usual, so that's one less thing to worry about! :D

Spenser's were tiny, more like cherry tomatoes. Not that I got to see them much as he considered the region none of my business. Good that he's eating well so soon after his adventure. :D
