New Kit
Hi
Can any recommended a Rabbit specialist who can shave my angora/lionhead?
I feel so awful , I brush him every week and hes always been fine, because of the bad winter iv not done it as much and I thought he was just putting weight on and getting fat but when iv taken him out of his cage to start brushing him, hes actually REALLY knotty but its hidden under the new fur and you cant tell till you actually start feeling them, its 1 gigantic knot all over him.
Iv been taking bits by bits off but its taking forever and I dont want to stress him.
I can remember my sister taking hers to Arncliffe vets to be shaved and OMG she came back a right mess, obviously they'd used an ordinary shaver and tore her skin all over, even resulting in stitches.. and to top it off, they even CHOPPED her tail off!! they 'thought' it was a knot... and sewed it back on.. then tried charging her £60-£70 the cheek!
wanting someone who knows what their doing and deals with this, hes nearly 6 so not sure if he can still be sedated?
