Good news for Spenser!

susie bun

Wise Old Thumper
We saw his regular vet this morning, and also his x-rays again. She says he doesn't need a dental, but may need overgrown front teeth sorted at some point (they are OK at the moment). This would not need GA apparently. His molars are meeting perfectly.

It looks like I need to relax a bit about his fussy eating. The vet also said that I should persever with handling him, wrapping in a towel if necessary, so that I can check his underneath regularly when he is having outdoor time.

That's good news, you must be very relieved! Sounds like Spenser is just a fussy bun with his food? I have one who is very fussy with veg, they are obviously just like us, different tastes!

:thumb: well at least you know he is just being fussy and is not in pain..I love spenser and his little ways..

Is he still indoors?

Yep. ;) We're not quite home and dry though... he's having a visitor today, hope he behaves. He has been known to thump at visiotrs, or at least make them talk to the furry bottom. :roll:

That's great news about his teeth, what a relief! At least you wont have to persevere with the metacam when he has his fussy days now! Is his hay intake still on the increase maybe it was hormones to some degree as well! If he doesnt have a reason for fussy eating chances are he would improve no end with another bunny nomming with him ;)

That's very good news. :thumb: At least you can relax a little now I hope. :D:D Good luck with the handling. :shock::lol:

Been a bit of a setback to the House Bunny bit. :( Still this is balanced by knowing he doesn't face a dental in the near future.

o spenser, i am so so so pleased for you both :D that is excellent news! looks like casper and spenser do have a difference.. caspers teeth are certainly far from perfect :(. atlease you can relax now :D xx

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Susie bun - you need to say that either Spenser gets a wifey bun to keep him company outside, or he'll have to stay in to keep him from getting lonely ;)

:lol::lol: what a good idea, when i wanted a friend for casper and my mum said "no more rabbits" i printed out lots of legislation on the "5 freedoms" :lol: I told her it would be against his legislation for him to be alone, soon enough she let me have my poppy :p always things to get round parents :lol:
