The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

    Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

how much does all of the vaccinations cost in total roughly

Prices vary but approximately £20-£25 per vaccination. So that would be an annual cost of 2 x Myxomatosis + 1 x VHD = £60-£75
 
Best to phone around local vets and find out as prices can vary between practices as well as regionally.

I pay around £40 a year for each buns jabs, I get a small discount for taking 3 buns.
 
about 17 per jab here.
so 51 for the year.

although it differs by almost £5 per jab just between the 2 practices in my town :wave:
 
I'd look at more than just the price when looking for a vet. You want them to be doing a good thorough examination as well so you want them to be experienced with treating rabbits.

My old vets it was a bit of a lottery as to which things they'd check. One time it would be ears and heart, then next time eyes and heart and weight, etc. The vet I use now does the same checks each time, eyes, tummy, heart, weight, ears, teeth...
