Young Bun
Good evening everyone.
I've just been inspecting a small scab on my buns neck as it feels bigger than it previously did. And noticed a little white crawly thing. Is it a mite? Have only had her since saturday. What do i do? Can they affect people. I have a two year old?!
Thanks in advance for any advice.

That sounds like a worm to me- have you checked your rabbits bum? I would try get off any of these and get to the vets as soon as you can.

Mites are microscopic so you wouldn't see them, you'd see their effects.

Where did you get her from? Why does she have a scab? It's sounds very odd and I think I'd be down the vets, especially if she's a new bunny. It's a good idea to get them a healthcheck anyway.

She came from somebodies house. The scab was there when we got her. Looked more like dry skin then. Now its a proper scab. Was gunna get her checked out when I booked her vaccs.

I copukld have been a louse if you could see it. I would get her vet checked and treated for parasitesa anyway.
