Horse Mats - Run

I'd like to put a horse mat in part of my rabbit's run:wave::wave: However would it get to hot in the summer?:roll::roll:

I dont think it would.., my rubbermatting in my horses stable never gets hot :wave:

Rubber matting is extremely expensive, and I'm sure it'd actually get quite hot if exposed to the sun all day.
Why do you need to put something down in the run? :wave:

I have rubber stable matting but of course it's in a stable & therefore shady

I would suggest that in the summer the run should be covered anyway to protect from the sun and therefore the matting shouldn't get hot :wave:
