Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

noticed shes been peeing pinky/red wee!

now I started to panic but then i remembered she stole my hamsters pink strawberry like vitamin block, she must have slowly chewed away at it from the outside of the hamster cage, and she ate the whole thing

could this explain it!! x

I'd say so, personally. Keep an eye on her.

How has she been, has her behaviour changed at all?

Make sure she's eating/drinking/pooping weeing and it should return to normal i would think within 24hours, give or take.

I noticed that there was dark orange/red wee in litter early evening too, and looked really close thinking it was blood, but remembered reading on here somewhere that wee can come in different colours depending on what they have eaten, mine had carrots day before, so im hoping it was that? its so worrying isnt it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

her behavious has changed but like 3 weeks ago, i think its her teenage years kicking in as shes just gone passed 6 months lol x

As Graham said, keep an eye on her but my bunnies wee is often a pinky red colour depending on what they've eaten. Certain greens can do it - the first time I noticed I was convinced it was blood. I rang my vets who told me that it was probably due to the greens etc. and that if they were both eating and acting normally there was unlikely to be anything wrong.
