Insulation

You can go for the foil type rolls that you buy in DIY shops or Polystyrene or Bubble Wrap.
I would avoid the fluffy 'wool' type insulation as the fibres can be bad for you if inhaled.

Whichever you chose you need to make sure 100% the rabbits can not get to it or chew it.

Bubble wrap - thank you!!

I've been looking for a cheap and effective insulation for under a tarp, and bubble wrap is perfect. Also very cheap on ebay :D

I was thinking of placing 6mm plywood inside, but could a rabbit chew that?

They could chew on the edges but arne't likely to get through. I use plywood as the basis for all my hutches. All the edges have a thick timber support though.
