As far as this curiousity being a breed trait, I tend to think those little dwarfs are particularly smart and curious...Nyxie has been easy to train and loves playing/exploring.
Sounds like you just have a very bright bun who wants to investigate things and perhaps play with them

You could try treat or clicker training. I've always wanted to do that but Grim is either too stupid or too smart. I tried to get him to jump onto my lap for a treat but he knew the treat was in the other hand so he would just walk around to the other side of me and nose butt my hand. :lol:
