Really Really Really daft question...

....How do you actually dry your herbs and what not...?:oops:
Im guessing you leave them in an airing cupboard or something?:oops:

First time doing this, as you can see...:oops:

Hi! Def not a stupid question.....I also asked when I did it!:D

I tied up & hung my apple branches/leaves in the shed....then when the wether turned..I put them in massive brown paper bags in the siring cupboard to just make sure....

Rose petals - on a paper towel...zip in the microwave...but I did that cause there were funny tiny bugs on them....:?Also just placed rose petals on the window sill when the weathers been warm...
Otherwise all that Ive collected I've put in the airing cupboard in cardboard boxes ir paper bags.....
Basil / parsely / rosemary / rose leaves & petals / apple leaves / brambles / lavender .....

They have all dried really well & also kept their colour too!
Turn them every other day too!

Good luck!

PS remeber they must have good air circulation round them to stop them getting mouldy. Even after they're dry check them from time to time and discard if they've got mould on.
