Moulting?

I collected jay yesterday:D

i was brushing him this morning and having a cuddle and noticed he has flakey skin is this a sign of moulting?
 
I haven't noticed it on my buns when they moult. Might be worth getting checkout out in case it is mites (tends to look like dandruff).

Mine just have lots of fur coming out at the moment and they are getting a brush at least twice a day.
 
When Jacques moulted it was just hair, I don't think flakey skin sounds good, worth checking at bunny docs. Bella and Jacob have just about started, find hair all over my clothes after cuddles.
 
on closer examination
its odd its not like dandruff it is actually skin peeling with fur:shock:
its deffo not mites though id try get a picture later although cant garuntee..
 
I have only known bunnies to moult when it is more summertime but has only been hair I have never seen flakey skin though sorry to not be very useful:roll:
