I was going to C&P the entire saga- all 6 posts worth plus the photos... but then I thought 'why paste it all in when it's easier to just link'

TADA- a link has appeared!

Morgs & her surgery

Short intro- Morgs's spay surgery was on the 7th Feb (earlier this year) and has only recently, that is as of Wednesday just gone, had her final bandage wrap taken off and given the thumbs up.

What was meant to be a single operation turned into 3 separate operations over the span of 3 weeks as she relentlessly tore her wound back open and caused so much trauma she damaged her stomach muscles.

She has had 2 red, 1 white, 3 blue and 2 pink bandage wraps, been put under a general anaesthetic 3 times in just under 2 weeks, taken (in total) 10ml of Baytril over 10 days, cost me £115 when the initial neuter was only £45 and caused me so much stress, worry and panic I was almost bald from pulling my hair out.

Even the Kitten collar didn't stop her ripping herself back open after the 2nd surgery to re-close as her tiny ears slipped up the neck tie allowing her to poke her nose under and get to the forsaken wound. Sado-Bunny!

Awww she is beautiful!!!

I am glad she is on the mend now. It must have been a horrible time for you!

I love the collar with the paw print on  bet she doesn't though

considering the mess she made of herself your vet bill is tiny

We go to Easipetcare which is 40% cheaper than normal vets and has a policy whereby vet bills shouldn't be extortionate because it is your animals health and wellbeing at stake.

They have 2 branches. one here and one in burton on trent :)

Had I of gone to my old vets the neuter surgery alone was £79.81!

Aww look at that little face:D :love:, glad she's recovered well now and bunnies love to cause mayhem just to make sure their hooman cares. It's obvious you do! Btw ask Morg how the new shoes of her hoomans friend tasted yesterday? and did she behave herself :D xx

They are way rabbit-savvy, the vet nurse lindsey is their resident rabbit expert and she's fab. Really lovely. Morgs loves her.

It is in fact down the road from KGH towards the town centre! Just off the big round about and right where the prospect place doctors are.

AND right next door to Jolleys petstore where they also give you 10% off vouchers etc for certain procedures.

(sneaky hint: if you say I recommended you you get £5 off when registering) lol

The rabbit expert for them in Burton-on-trent also reviewed my book!

Morgs had a good nibble at the shoes! but then clocked that my friend smokes and smelt of smoke so put herself away and sat in her nesting box for the whole 4 hrs my friend was over!

Aww yes I don't blame her :D. At least a little nibble was achieved! Your vet sounds awesome; mines great but I must admit they can be pricey. Ah well bunsters are worth every penny spent and they know it!

Ive had a nosey and spotted that Laura the vet, Lindsey (i think) and Nikki are all from my old vets in Wellingborough

Its good to see they have an exotic specialist vet :thumb: I think I'll stick with my current vet as the prices for consultations are cheaper but atleast I know where I can if I ever need a second opinion or my vet wants to speak with another vet :D
