Spring fever - nipping

Im a bit worried about my munchkins! They have spring fever at the mo which sometimes includes some chasing and an occasional nip. I just found a scab on Rimmis neck- typical bun mouth shape. How can I prevent these wounds becoming abscesses? Should I clean them? Usually the nips only get fur, Ive never found a bite mark on either before......should I be worried?

Id wash any nip marks with cooled boiled water with a pinch of salt in it.
