We brought the bunnies in over the winter so I've not really been out and looked at their hutch/aviary for the last few months.
Been out today and the hutch is showing signs of damp. OH made the hutch and we did it cavitied so there's an outside 'skin' and an inside. Just wondering if this could be causing the damp? The air is getting trapped in the cavity??
We're making some adjustments to the hutch before the bunnies go back outside and we're now wondering whether a single skin would be better?? Its all been treated with bunny friendly wood stain.
So, was thinking single skin and then lining it with lino (walls and ceiling included)??
At the mo is the double skin with the floor lined with lino but its definitely damp!
Any ideas??
PS/ can't wait for the alterations to be done, it'll make the hutch 7ft wide by 2.5ft deep - and double decked!
