Any rabbit savvy emergency vets in East Yorkshire?

After the big scare with Gordon and phoning several useless emergency vets I am trying to find an emergency vet that will be helpful if I ever need them again. Unfortunately I live in a pretty secluded area with nothing much around :( My usual vets is about a 20 minute drive away but as I found out the emergency vets are useless (maybe not all but the ones I spoke to). I know of two other vets, one is nearer than my usual but isn't vey good at all and I really wouldn't use them and another one is over an hour away and charges very expensive prices, I went with my friend once and it cost an awful lot just for two rabbits to be sexed. Does anybody know any good, rabbit savvy emergency vets around East Yorkshire? Hull is just over an hours drive away from me but I've heard bad things about vets in Hull, obviously by that I don't mean all. Thankyou very much

I'm not in East Yorkshire of course, but you could try contacting the Rabbit Welfare Association. I'm quite lucky as Spenser's vet uses a 24 hour service called 'Vets Now' for emergency cover. Spenser and I didn't much like the vet we saw, but were glad she was there to give him the meds he needed. You should be able to get RWA contact details from their website.

Nothing wrong with Hull at all, the emergency vets there saved my Molly's life.
I've always used Kingston Veterinary Group and they were great when I lived there.

Where abouts is Kingston Veterinary group? I didn't mean all the vets in Hull at all :)

They have loads of different branches, I could be wrong but I think its only the Park Street branch, off Anlaby Road. Don't know how well you know Hull?

I have to go to a specialist dentist down Anlaby Road, we always get lost down the roads and it takes a long time get there :( Over an hour

where exactly are you? that might help.. if youre an hour from hull does that put you scarborough way, leeds way, york?

Thankyou very much for that  I think I'd give them a call then if ever needed :D Must be better than the responses I got before :(

Might be worth giving them a ring and registering, save you doing it in the time of an emergency.

PS the kingston vets in hull already mentioned has an animal ambulance that will come and pick a sick animal up if needed, but its very expensive.
