    Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Ok so my girl is ready to be spayed and i have £175 saved (omg i'm a terrible saver so proud:lol:) just incase there is a problem and i need to spalsh out for her best possible care :)

but now my parents are going 'its a waste of money, don't be stupid, youe got collage and driving lessons to think about. Its a bloody rabbit, its a waste of money, absolutley no point, your being so stupid :evil:

Ughh i'm so annoyed, id rather pay for my bun anyday. She doesnt agree and so i will have to go on my own so i was wondering if i will be allowed. I'm 16 and will be the one signing the papers. Do i have to be over 18 to be allowed by the vet? oh and any tips to make me not appear 'stupid' or 'just' a rabbit:( shes not just a rabbit :censored:
 
I think if you're paying, especially if you're paying by card, you should be fine.

I mean, we can get jobs at 16 and legally go out and buy a pet on our own, I don't see why we shouldn't be allowed to get care for our pets!

It's a shame you don't have your family's support though:( xx
 
I have complete respect for you that you are caring for your bun properly and putting its welfare first. What happens if you don't spay and she gets cancer in a few years!!
 
Well done for saving that much and taking care of your bun! I completely understand where your coming from, parents just don't understand! I haven't even told my parents that Oscar is vaccinated because they would say that... :roll:
 
Sorry about your parents' attitude. Some people just don't 'get it' do they. Bet they wouldn't have said that had you been talking about a cat or dog.:(

Yeah. =/ I just don't want to get there and the vet be like 'oh... hi is your parents with you we need someone to sign..' :roll:

The moneys saved up so hopefully she doesnt have any problems like that.:)

Haha that is the exact same with me! i had to mention the spay because she would need to be kept a close eye on and would be shaved etc. but i keep the vaccines a secerate, i'm not prepared to argue a case i know she will not listnen too :roll: :)
