I use Sainsburys basics door mats in my buns aviary, on top of a hutch which they sleep on.

I use rag rugs or similar type of rug.

I've heard of people using carpet, but you'd have to make sure it hasn't got a coarse pile, otherwise it could cause sore hocks

I have used one like that, it was fine but the buns chewed it so I replaced it with non-slip vinyl flooring.

ps you'll find a cheaper runner in wilkinsons

As long as you protect the edges they shouldn't be able to chew the vinyl flooring. With carpets and mats they can just chew the pile.

thanks I think i'll try this first as Sebastian never bothered with carpet when he was indoors

what about something like this, comes in tonnes of different sizes and is pet safe and washable in tha machine!

I dont use ebay

Plus Sebastian would almost deffinatly ruin it and/or eat it. Its too poofy so he could chew it
