constant loud gurgling belly but no pain

bunny mad lisa

Mama Doe
Hi
My bunny has dental issues and kidney failure. For the past 2 weeks since his molar spurs have been bothering him I have noticed very loud belly gurgles. Sometimes its that loud it sounds like a drain! when it is happening he isn't in the slightest bit bothered and usual carries on eating or doing his usual things. He had his molar spurs sorted on friday and is doing great, eating so much better!

i assumed it was because of his teeth but now his teeth are o.k I expected the gurgling to stop but it seems to be there more! I am giving infacol and tummy rubs.

Could it be a sign of another problem or could it be because of his kidneys.

any suggestions?

not much at all. i wondered if it was from me syringe feeding him but i hvae been doing this for months twice aday. The past few eweeks it has been 3 or 4 times a day. He has also been eating alot of porraige oat flakes...there the only changes i can think of.

hate to "hijack" your thread but i have a similar issue and hope to get some help, everytime skipper drinks i can hear very loud gurgling, what does this mean?

he has about a small handful a day as i am trying to put weight on. he does soemtimes have a bit of a messy bum in the mornings but not bad and i think its because he can't reach properly because of his arthritus.
