Hi there,

Looked on your information threads and there were a few conflicting messages. My friend has a cherry tree, are the branches/twigs safe?

No they are toxic.

All fruit woods where the fruit has a stone e.g cherry, plum, apricot etc are toxic and no part of the plant should be fed.

Aldi have got some bare rooted ones for sale at the moment - why not plant one and in a few years, you'll have your own supply
