Equilage - suitable for buns?

I was talking to the man in the horse feed shop and the fact that you cant buy small bales of hay anymore and he suggested that equilage may be okay for buns as it is only bagged dust free hay. Does anyone know if it would be okay?

It is costing me a fortune buying small bags and you just cant get small bales here.

Does he mean haylage? If so thats too rich for buns tums

I'm pretty sure its just a brand name for haylage. If so its not really suitable because it ferments and can cause tummy probs.
