Breakthrough with foster bun!

I have had Simba, my foster, for over a week now. He has allowed me to pick him up and sits quietly on my knee. I have been trying to gain his trust at this time by giving him a wee special treat like a tiny bit of banana, some apple or carrot but he woudn't eat anything. Today I had some lovely fresh parsley and he munched right into it!

Once it was finished he relaxed with his head on my arm. He was in a blissful state with his eyes closed and teeth grinding as I rubbed his head. It feels great to have gained his trust and hopefully make him a better companion for someone when he's rehomed.

I must say, Simba is a stunner, I love his fur doo!
