I need some advice as to where to take Oscar for his neuter next month...
1- Abbey Vets, Durham
This is my local vets where I took him for his vaccinations. It's within walking distance, and the vets there are very good. It's quiet expensive though, and they quoted me £57 (I think) for his neuter.
2- Vets4Pets, Framwellgate Moor
This is a short bus journey away, and I have an RSPCA neuter voucher for here (they were running a free neuter scheme when I got in touch). However, when I emailed them they recommended I got in touch with their Sunderland branch and their rabbit-savvy vet there...
3- Vets4Pets, Sunderland
This is around an hours train journey with two change-overs to get to. They said they would also accept the RSPCA neuter voucher, and they have a rabbit specialist vet though.
Which one would you go to? I'm worried that if I went to Sunderland, if there was an emergency I wouldn't be able to get him back there in time. Or could I get him treated at my normal vets if there was an emergency, even if he was neutered elsewhere? Would my normal vet be annoyed if he was neutered elsewhere?
Thanks for any advice
