well in the end our costumes for the 80's (1981) theamed birthday party you all gave smashing ideas for we ended up rushing last minuite!!! so instead of postman pat and jess the cat as we planned, we were indiana jones (my husband tom) and i was a rock chick

That looks awesome! I love fancy dress, the chance to dress crazy without people thinking you're mad. Ive done some daft ones for murder mystery evenings recently, but now I want to have a fancy dress for my birthday!
