Wood Stain

Anyone know of a wood stain or wood coat (weather and apearance purpose based) that is safe for nibbling bunnies?

Cuprinol Garden Shades is what was used on our aviary - water based with wax in it, rather than alcohol based.

pets at home do one for about a fiver and it was enough for 2 coats of a 6x2 hutch with attached 6x4 run with a bit left over, the downside is that it absolutely reeks, you couldn't put the buns back in for a few days, ours stayed indoors for a week to be on the safe side
