if someone is painting/drawing a portrait for you definatly don't give them no1. After drawing some pet portraits myself I believe it is essential to see the pets eyes, as this contains the character, and it just doesn't look right without seeing them.
From an artist point of view id say
3) for a more modern portrait
4) for a more traditional portrait format
but I reckon 5) is the best choice

If I was painting it I would chose 2 or 5 but its such a personal choice I think you should think about which pose most typified her .

I voted for 3 but I actually love the picture of her in your siggy.That would be a gorgeus portrait.I had my portrait of B tattooed on my lower back last year & I love that!

I think im going to go for number 6 without the background though as its scruffy lol number 5 is my fave but the food bowl ruins it i think
